2. Data We Collect

When you contact us via the website form, we process the information you provide (name, organisation, contact details, message content and, where given, consent to processing) solely for the purpose of responding to your enquiry and related follow-up.

Server logs may temporarily record technical access data (e.g. IP address, timestamp, requested URL) as required for security and operation of the hosting environment.

3. Legal Basis

Processing of contact enquiries is based on Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (pre-contractual measures) and/or Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries). Where you tick the consent checkbox on the contact form, processing also rests on Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR.

We use only essential, first-party mechanisms required to operate the site. We do not use advertising or analytics cookies. See our Cookie Notice.

7. Retention

Contact enquiries are retained only as long as needed to handle your request and any related documentation obligations, then deleted or anonymised unless a longer retention period is required by law.

8. Your Rights

You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict or object to the processing of your data, as well as the right to data portability and the right to lodge a complaint with the Austrian Data Protection Authority (Datenschutzbehörde). To exercise your rights, write to office@whitewhale.at.
